How long will
my advert stay on the site?
As long as it takes to sell- NarrowboatShop.co.uk will keep your advert
on the site until you notify us that the boat has been sold. This is done
through your control panel.
Are my payment/personal
details safe?
Absolutely- the site uses industry standard 128bit SSL encryption technology.
When entering personal details, logging-in to the site or submitting narrowboat
information, you will see the padlock icon
at the bottom of the screen to indicate that your details are secure.
Your payment is processed entirely by Nochex, who are an independent
payment specialist. All of your credit/debit card details are processed
by Nochex in accordance with their security
policies.

Why do
I need to register to sell my boat?
In order to allow us to manage your advert and provide a more secure service,
we require you to register. This enables us to provide you with a log-in
password and provide access to your own Control Panel management area-
from here you can change details of you advert instantly.
How many
pictures can I add to my advert?
You may add upto eight full-color, high-resolution images to your advert.
These images should be in jpeg format and ideally measure 800 x 600 pixels.
How
do I change my password?
To change your password, log-in using your username and password. Once
logged-in, click on the Control Panel link at the top of the page to access
your personal Control Panel. Click on the Change
Password link. Enter your current password, then enter your new password
(at least 6 characters) in the next two text boxes. Click on the Change
Password Button to confirm the change.
How
do I change my personal details?
To change your personal details, log-in using your username and password.
Once logged-in, click on the Control Panel link at the top of the page
to access your personal Control Panel. Click on the Change
Personal Details link. Modify your personal details as required, and
confirm the changes by clicking on the Update Details Button.
How
do I change the price and details of my advertised narrowboat/s?
To change the details of your narrowboat, log-in using your username and
password. Once logged-in, click on the Control Panel link at the top of
the page to access your personal Control Panel. A list of your current
adverts will be shown. Click on the Revise Advert link of the narrowboat
you wish to modify. Click on the [Modify] link of the particular part
of the advert that you wish to edit, make the required changes, and click
on the Submit Changes button. Certain parts of the advert (such as the
Narrowboat Name, Length etc) cannot be changed through the Control Panel
and must be modified by a member of the NarrowboatShop.co.uk team. Please
contact us if you wish to change
one of these details.
How do I
tell you that I have sold my narrowboat?
To tell us that you have sold your narrowboat, log-in using your username
and password. Once logged-in, click on the Control Panel link at the top
of the page to access your personal Control Panel. A list of your current
adverts will be shown. Click on the Revise Advert link of the narrowboat
you wish to mark as sold. Click on the [Mark as Sold] link at the bottom
of the page. Tick the confirm box and click on the Submit Changes button.
